About the role
The Strategy and Management Military Development Program at Bank of America is a two-year development program designed to prepare participants to become future corporate leaders. It offers an exclusive preview of the elite, two-year development training program, which includes direct experience in Digital Technologies, FinTech, Strategy, Innovation, and Management.
Responsibilities
- Work in the innovation function (Bank of America Strategy & Business Ventures) to help drive strategic growth initiatives across core business units.
- Be exposed to multiple parts of the business and learn how to develop, test, launch, and operationalize new strategies to better serve clients.
- Participate in a comprehensive training curriculum taught by Bank of America and industry experts, designed to enable general manager capabilities.
- Drive strategic initiatives across high-visibility and fast-growing areas of the business, including FinTech, Product Innovation, Client Segmentation, Client Experience, Strategic Ventures, Portfolio Management, and Business Intelligence.
- Leverage the latest emerging technology (AI, Cloud, Automation, Personalization) to evolve the business.
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- Must be a Junior Military Officer, Warrant Officer, or Non-Commissioned Officer with an honorable discharge from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and within 24 months of separation from Active Duty (currently Drilling National Guard or Reservists are eligible).
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

- Builds and nurtures strong relationships, while collaborating to get things done.
- Demonstrates strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, creativity, listening, communication, and presentation skills.

Qualifications
- 3.2 minimum GPA preferred.
- Pursuing a field which includes but is not limited to: Management, Economics, Finance, Consulting, Mathematics, Data Analysis, FinTech, Marketing, Product Management, Project Management.
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with high-performing teams or organizations.
- Experience leading and organizing projects.
Skills
