Strategy Lead, Portfolio and Planning, Specialty Care GBU

Responsibilities

• Cook up and oversee the Specialty Care GBU’s annual strategic planning cycle and portfolio review
• Develop and maintain a high-quality, standardized planning process with clear timelines and outputs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive GBU plans for leadership
• Lead the development of long-term strategic direction across therapeutic areas in the GBU
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform strategic decisions
• Support governance of the portfolio to guide investment and prioritization decisions
• Act as a thought partner to the Global Head of Strategy & Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a scientific or business field
• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD) and/or an MBA preferred
• Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharma strategy or portfolio management
• Strong analytical capability in portfolio prioritization and investment trade-offs across multi-asset portfolios
