Strategy & Finance Health Care Consultant

About the role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience, particularly in the health and human services industry. They should be adept at understanding business challenges, assessing client situations, and developing strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create budgets, calculate service unit costing, and conduct service line pricing and analyses.
• Prepare customer-facing client deliverables for each project.
• Serve as primary author of recommendations, incorporating analysis and input from subject matter experts and market research.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and writing.
• Prepare articles and other written materials for OPEN MINDS publications.
• Prepare and deliver presentations at OPEN MINDS and client events.
• Track own billable hours and manage the billable hours of a total project.

Requirements

• 10+ years of healthcare knowledge and experience, preferably in the health and human services industry.
• Ability to understand and assess business challenges, develop strategies, and present recommendations.
• Expertise in creating budgets, calculating service unit costing, and conducting service line pricing and analyses.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing the status of client projects and to make presentations.
• Attention to detail in the accuracy, grammar, formatting, and other elements of successful client deliverables and presentations.
• Visual acuity for data preparation and analysis.
• Ability to travel overnight, unattended throughout the continental United States.

Pay

$100K+ depending on experience
