About the role
We are seeking a strategic and data-fluent Strategy Consultant to drive initiatives within Utilization Management and Medical Policy operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial and operational models to evaluate strategies and measure performance
- Lead the creation of cost-saving models at procedure-code levels
- Extract and transform healthcare data to support analysis
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to translate technical data into actionable insights
- Execute tactical strategies independently to meet high-level goals
- Manage strategy projects and provide guidance to team members
- Serve as subject matter expert on healthcare operational and clinical issues
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, or related field, with 6+ years of experience in healthcare or strategy consulting; or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in data manipulation and modeling tools (SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau)
- Deep understanding of healthcare datasets, clinical terminology, and operational strategies
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills

This is a remote role, ideally suited for candidates near Pittsburgh, PA, with minimal travel requirements.
