Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead/Senior Consultant to spearhead the digital strategy and growth initiatives for some of our most prestigious clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the digital landscape and have a proven track record in leading the strategy on complex, high-impact content and commerce projects that deliver measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies for clients, aligning digital initiatives with overall business objectives to drive growth and innovation while stepping in to execute critical deliverables when needed.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Understand their business needs, challenges, and goals to deliver tailored strategic solutions.
  • Consultative Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in eCommerce, content, which will include digital marketing, user experience, platform selection, data and analytics, and conversion optimization. Ensure clients are leveraging the latest technologies and trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Hands‑On Delivery: Contribute directly to client work by participating in consulting engagements, auditing site performance, configuring platform features, building dashboards, running conversion experiments to accelerate time-to-value and leading enablement sessions.
  • Oversight & Direction: Oversee Solution Consultants, PIM Consultants, UX/UI Designers, and Insights Teams in the delivery of projects. Ensure outputs inspire, engage and provide clear direction to clients and internal teams alike. And produce deliverables or unblock issues when necessary. Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, developers, and designers, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilise data-driven insights you help generate to measure the success of digital initiatives. Continuously refine strategies to improve KPIs such as conversion rates, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Innovation & Growth: Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the client’s digital landscape. Propose and implement solutions that enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and increase profitability.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Vaimo as a thought leader in the digital space by participating in industry events, contributing to publications, and sharing insights with the broader digital commerce and content community.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital, working for a systems integrator, brand or retailer, with a focus on strategy and growth and demonstrable hands‑on delivery. Experience with high-profile clients and complex digital transformations is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce platforms, content platforms, digital marketing, data analytics and AI, and customer experience optimization.
  • Strong client management skills with a proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate the ROI of digital initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams. Ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams towards a common goal while actively contributing to deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and effectively.
  • Awareness of the latest trends and innovations in eCommerce, content, and digital marketing, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and practical application on client projects.
