Strategy and Plans Analyst
About the role
Support service and joint planning teams to develop new operational concepts for how the U.S. Air Force and Joint Services will deter, and if needed, respond to the full spectrum of military contingences across all domains. Integrate theater air and information initiatives with the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) staff to produce theater level operational plans and products. Support the development of theater-level operational plans and contingency strategies, provide analysis of force structure, basing, and logistics requirements, and ensure alignment with Department of War (DoW) strategic guidance and USAF doctrine.
Responsibilities
- Support service and joint planning teams to develop new operational concepts for military contingences across all domains.
- Integrate theater air and information initiatives with PACOM staff to produce theater level operational plans and products.
- Support the development of theater-level operational plans and contingency strategies.
- Provide analysis of force structure, basing, and logistics requirements.
- Ensure alignment with DoW strategic guidance and USAF doctrine.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience at a DoD Service-level headquarters, Theater Component headquarters, Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Staff (JS), or Interagency level.
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or policy.
- Experience with national security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
- Experience in leading groups using the Joint Planning Process and Joint Campaigns and Operations.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
Skills
- Experience with national security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
- Experience with writing and coordinating executive-level products for General or Flag Officers (GO/FO).

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
