About the role

This position supports Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives within a commercial banking environment. The role is a hybrid of product management, business analysis, and data analysis aimed at delivering AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into scalable product capabilities by working with various stakeholders, including business, product, technology, and data science teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support product backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning activities.
  • Translate business needs into user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Break down complex features into actionable work for technology, data, and analytics teams.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Coordinate testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release validation, and defect management.
  • Identify and drive the resolution of risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.
  • Analyze business, customer, and operational data to inform product decisions.
  • Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments.
  • Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and integration requirements.
  • Use SQL and other analytical tools to investigate issues and validate requirements.
  • Define data and testing requirements for APIs, integrations, and GenAI use cases.
  • Facilitate discussions, document decisions, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning.
  • Experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into user stories and actionable solutions.
  • Hands-on SQL experience and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data mapping, data quality validation, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and data partners.
  • Effective communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Skills

  • SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Teradata, MongoDB).
  • APIs, JSON, and Swagger.
  • Data profiling, mapping, and validation.
  • JIRA and Postman.
  • Figma and Agile delivery practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI, Machine Learning (ML), or GenAI products.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and Responsible AI principles.
  • Experience working with customer/profile data or geospatial/map data.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry.
