About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Data Processor/Analyst to join our initial processing team. The role involves ensuring timely receipt, processing, analysis, and distribution of data used to analyze the accuracy and reliability of the US's Strategic Weapon Systems.
Responsibilities
- Select appropriate data inputs, monitor execution of processes and applications, and verify outputs are complete.
- Exercise technical judgement in applying quality control checks on data from initial receipt through final data delivery and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Leverage software to distribute a variety of SWS and Telemetry data products in accordance with program and sponsor policies and procedures.
- Aid the Operations section in keeping procedures current by writing and updating test plans, scenario documents, and processing checklists; identify software/process inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Develop test plans for and lead software testing of the initial processing software applications using automated and manual testing methods.
- Work alongside technical professional staff to develop technical concepts/alternatives for the future of Trident data offloads, leveraging encryption technologies.
Qualifications
- Significant work experience in a specific technical field (e.g., networking topologies/design, encryption/decryption devices, etc.).
- Demonstrated relevant experience with executing software in the Microsoft Windows environment.
- At least three years of demonstrated recent experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational & multi-tasking skills.
- Active Secret level security clearance and eligibility to obtain a Top Secret level clearance.
Special Working Conditions
- Some processing must be performed in classified closed areas.
- Staff may be asked to work occasional weekend or evening hours to support operations.
- Staff may occasionally be requested to travel to support flight tests.
