Strategic Supplier Lead
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance is required; an active and existing clearance is required after day one. This position is 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Strategic Supplier Lead to join our Test Solutions Center (TSC) in El Segundo, CA. Test Solutions is a multi-disciplined organization responsible for designing and developing production test system solutions for all Raytheon products.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic supplier partnerships by coordinating key engagement activities such as QBRs, CORE events, and action-item reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain structured supplier performance management through standardized scorecards, capability alignment, and robust tracking of KPIs, risks, and issues.
- Develop long-term supplier growth strategies, including multi-year roadmaps for emerging and high-value suppliers.
- Strengthen supplier frameworks with scalable intake, qualification processes, and optimized governance cycles to enhance collaboration and performance.
- Monitor industry trends and partner with outsourcing teams to identify new suppliers, technologies, and strategic opportunities; domestic travel up to 20%.

Requirements
- University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Strong experience engaging, qualifying, and developing strategic suppliers, including resolving issues and managing performance metrics.
- Demonstrated cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in designing PMO governance, operating cadences, enterprise KPIs, and structured decision-making forums.
- Experience monitoring industry trends and translating insights into supplier strategy decisions for leadership.
- DoD purchasing experience.
- Data-driven decision-making experience.
- Risk and compliance awareness experience.
- Experience with SAP.
- Experience working across multi-disciplined groups of engineers.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
