Strategic Sourcing Lead

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee global IT strategic sourcing, focusing on category management, sourcing, contracting, and asset management to maximize value, reduce costs, and mitigate risks for the organization. In this role, you will lead a distributed team, collaborate with IT and procurement leaders worldwide, drive supplier performance, ensure software compliance, and support complex negotiations to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing multi-year category strategies aligned with business and technology goals.
• Leading global sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management to secure optimal value and service levels.
• Establishing vendor performance metrics, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing outsourced vendors and internal centers for quality and compliance.
• Managing departmental budgets, resource planning, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Ensuring policy adherence, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management through cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field; Master's/MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, including 5+ years negotiating large IT contracts and managing global teams.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with expertise in process standardization, vendor management, and strategic planning.
• Ability to operate in complex, ambiguous environments and influence executive-level decisions.
