About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Professional Services will manage the strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle of professional services including marketing, communications, people solutions, corporate services, and facility management. They will lead and advise on negotiations, perform third-party supplier due diligence, and conduct market/industry research to build and enrich a procurement pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new professional services purchases – conducting needs assessments, managing RFx processes, and negotiating enterprise agreements.
• Own the renewal management for existing contracts, initiating reviews 90+ days before expiration to optimize terms and right-size licenses.
• Analyze and build TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment) models to support KPI compliance by the supplier base.
• Partner with key business stakeholders to assess needs and build requirements for RFx events.
• Maintain supplier relationships through structured business reviews, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights back to the Professional Services Category Manager to inform broader category strategy.
• Engage and participate in special projects or complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Deep knowledge of consulting and service deliverable-based contracts.
• Strong analytical capabilities – comfortable with spend data, utilization metrics, and TCO modeling.

Pay

Actual compensation is influenced by skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location. The national pay rate range for this position is $98,230 to $186,220. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
