Strategic Sourcing Manager III (Healthcare Services / Pharmacy) Motus Recruiting & Staffing is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization to identify an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager III for a 6-month contract opportunity. This position is ideal for a senior sourcing professional with deep expertise supporting Healthcare Services and Pharmacy spend categories, strategic procurement, complex contract negotiations, and enterprise supplier management. This role will lead high-impact sourcing initiatives, develop long-term category strategies, negotiate complex agreements, and partner with executive stakeholders to deliver measurable operational and financial value. Ideal Candidate will be a strategic procurement leader who excels at building trusted business relationships, leading complex sourcing initiatives, negotiating high-value contracts, and delivering measurable cost savings while balancing quality, compliance, and organizational risk. The ideal candidate brings deep Healthcare Services and Pharmacy sourcing expertise along with exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills. DOELocation: Fully Remote - Must reside in one of these states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and WyomingWork Schedule: Pacific Time business hours (Occasional work outside normal business hours may be required to support project deliverables)Limited travel may be requiredReliable high-speed internet is required using Cable, DSL, or Fiber connectivity (Satellite and mobile hotspot connections are not supported). Responsibilities of the Strategic Sourcing Manager III:Lead enterprise-wide strategic sourcing initiatives supporting Healthcare Services and Pharmacy spend categories.Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives, cost optimization, and operational priorities.Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including market analysis, RFx strategy and execution, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, onboarding, and supplier performance management.Negotiate complex contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing structures, and commercial terms to maximize value and mitigate risk.Build trusted partnerships with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, influencing sourcing decisions and procurement strategy.Develop and present business cases, spend analyses, financial models, and executive contract summaries to support governance and strategic decision-making.Drive supplier performance, regulatory compliance, procurement governance, and continuous process improvement.Partner with Supplier Relationship Managers to strengthen vendor relationships and resolve supplier performance issues.Lead complex, cross-functional sourcing events while providing project leadership, risk management, and change management expertise.Manage Healthcare Services and Pharmacy procurement.Negotiate complex contracts and Statements of Work (SOWs).Direct RFx strategy, supplier selection, and sourcing events.Build and manage strategic supplier relationships.Analyze spend data and develop financial business cases.Mitigate risk while ensuring procurement governance and compliance.Influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional decision-making.Lead complex projects and enterprise sourcing initiatives.Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
