Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including requirements definition, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and selection
- Develop and maintain category strategies that balance cost savings, supply assurance, risk management, quality, and service
- Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements to protect company interests while fostering strong supplier partnerships
- Manage supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to drive procurement best practices
- Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions and long-term planning
- Support departmental KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or CPSM/CIPS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management
- Demonstrated success achieving cost savings and mitigating supply risk
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with technical spend categories, preferably electrical apparatus or components
- Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing abilities
