Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including requirements definition, market analysis, supplier evaluation, and selection
• Develop and maintain category strategies that balance cost savings, supply assurance, risk management, quality, and service
• Negotiate complex contracts and commercial agreements to protect company interests while fostering strong supplier partnerships
• Manage supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to drive procurement best practices
• Analyze market trends and supply chain risks to inform sourcing decisions and long-term planning
• Support departmental KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or CPSM/CIPS preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management
• Demonstrated success achieving cost savings and mitigating supply risk
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience with technical spend categories, preferably electrical apparatus or components
• Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing abilities

Pay

$120,000 - $140,000 per year
