AvtechTyee is searching for a Strategic Sourcing Manager with negotiation experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Working on site at the facility is required to support innovation, productivity, cross-functional collaboration, and team cohesion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned spend categories company-wide, prioritizing based on spend value, risk, and savings opportunity.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, contracts, and service levels to reduce total cost of ownership.

- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and business-unit stakeholders to understand requirements and influence specifications or designs where cost or supply advantages exist.
- Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and issue escalation/resolution.
- Track and report savings, cost avoidance, and category performance metrics to leadership on a regular cadence.
- Monitor market and supply conditions relevant to AvtechTyee's spend categories and proactively flag risks or opportunities.
- Support new product introduction, capital projects, or service procurement as sourcing needs arise across the business.
- Ensure sourcing activity complies with company policy, and with contractual, quality, and (where applicable) regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring terms protect AvtechTyee's commercial and operational interests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build spend and savings models and communicate them to leadership.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills — this role works with stakeholders across the business without direct authority over them.
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and spend-analysis tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (US Person as defined in applicable export regulations or a non-US person eligible to obtain required export authorization by DOH).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sourcing across a mix of direct materials, indirect spend, and services.
- Experience in electronics, hardware, manufacturing, or technical-products environment.
- CPSM, CPIM, or similar supply chain/procurement certification.
