About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and implement strategies for initiatives related to third-party parts and commodities for a heavy-duty manufacturer. The ideal candidate will creatively seek new ways to price competitively, gain market share, and support double-digit growth. Responsibilities include leading supplier negotiations and establishing long-term agreements and partnerships with external vendors. A proven track record of success is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, or buying within a complex manufacturing environment
- Proven success leading teams and delivering measurable business results
- Experience using fact-based data and analytics to drive sourcing decisions
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Pay
$130,000+ plus bonus
