Strategic Sourcing Generalist – Technology (Remote)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Generalist with 3-5 years of experience in Technology Procurement and Strategic Sourcing. This role will support sourcing and procurement activities for technology-related contracts under $100K and partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supplier Management experience.
• At least 3 years of Technology Category sourcing experience.
• Experience sourcing technology products and services, including:
  • SaaS
  • Cybersecurity solutions
  • Enterprise software
  • Cloud and hosting services
  • Technology-related services and hardware
• Experience managing procurement activities for contracts under $100K.
• Strong understanding of RFP/RFI processes and sourcing strategies.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage technology sourcing initiatives for contracts under $100K.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and cost savings.
• Analyze market trends and procurement risks.
• Supplier & Contract Management:
• Lead supplier selection and contract negotiations.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, and Governance teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Support supplier performance management and issue resolution.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on sourcing and procurement best practices.
• Improve contract compliance and procurement processes.
• Data & Process Excellence:
• Analyze spend data and identify savings opportunities.
• Develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and cost models.
• Utilize procurement and supplier management tools to support sourcing decisions.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications are a plus:

Pay Rate

$40-$50/hr W2
