Strategic Sourcing Category Lead - Neenah

About the role

A Strategic Sourcing Category Lead at Faith Technologies, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy and fostering strong supplier relationships. Your expertise in strategic sourcing and market intelligence will be crucial in driving cost savings and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, issues, and manages RFPs or bid processes for sourcing goods and services to achieve targeted specifications.
• Participates in cost reduction activities and monitors price increases.
• Qualifies alternative supply sources and develops new alliances with strategic suppliers.
• Supports internal and external quarterly vendor reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews with preferred vendors.
• Facilitates supplier problem resolution and ensures compliance with supplier contracts.
• Manages relationships with key suppliers and facilitates supplier-driven innovation in Faith designs.
• Reviews supplies to ensure quality and supports internal resources in sourcing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of strategic sourcing experience.
• Proficiency in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is beneficial but not required.

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday.
