About the Role
Texas Health Resources is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join the Supply Chain Management team. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment and is based at 612 E. Lamar TX 76011.
Responsibilities
- Provide pricing comparisons, utilization analytics, supplier benchmarking, and market basket analyses to support category strategies and identify savings opportunities (30%)
- Conduct spend analytics, analyze data, and use results to drive recommendations for sourcing initiatives (30%)
- Evaluate and compare supplier responses for pricing, service levels, clinical equivalency, and contractual terms, including identification of savings proposals and optimization/standardization opportunities (10%)
- Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Value Analysis and Procure-To-Pay resources associated with their categories to resolve specific supplier issues such as recalls and price discrepancies (10%)
- Maintain data accuracy and consistency across sourcing tools, analytics platforms, and reporting outputs (10%)
- Aid the Sourcing Specialist and Program Directors in other RFP related activities (10%)
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare related fields required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2 years experience in data analytics including financial analysis and quantitative/qualitative assessment in supply chain, healthcare or related industry required (with Associate's degree)

Work Environment
This is an Individual Contributor role. Work is performed primarily indoors (67% or more) with sedentary physical demands. Potential exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and other hazards occurs 1-33% of the time.
