About the role
The Strategic Solutions Manager plays a critical role in driving long-term revenue growth by identifying high-value opportunities, developing strong client relationships, managing the full sales lifecycle, and aligning sales efforts to meet the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of the sales process, goals, and targets, including compiling lists of prospective customers to provide sales leads.
- Evaluate and present new business opportunities by assessing potential revenue, long-term value, and alignment with organizational capabilities.
- Maintain sales database and prospect lists; prepare reports of business, including sales, bid tracking (lost and pending), and pipeline reports.
- Partner with vertical administration leadership to ensure information in HubSpot is current and comprehensive.
- Develop productive business relationships with corporate partners, including FM Corporations, Public Institutions, and related Industry Leaders.
- Generate bids and respond efficiently to RFPs in conjunction with Operational leadership teams.
- Meet or exceed sales quota within the required time period as identified by leadership.
- Travel up to 30% for client meetings and industry events.
- Carry out management responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress work environment.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
