Role & Responsibilities

  • S&OP Analytics & Demand Planning
    • Own the retail demand forecast models and key assumptions that drive the S&OP process
    • Ensure inputs reflect the latest distribution plans, promotional events, and velocity trends
    • Build velocity assumptions at the SKU and retailer level
    • Assess the retail opportunity pipeline
    • Size corresponding production requirements
    • Quantify the supply impact of different demand outcomes
    • Provide Finance with key planning inputs
  • Inventory Visibility & Constraint Management
    • Build and maintain a real-time inventory visibility model
    • Monitor and model inventory positions by SKU and by customer
    • Identify channels or accounts driving depletion ahead of plan
    • Develop a PO management framework
    • Prioritize and allocate incoming retailer POs
    • Manage short-term PO intake and service levels
    • Flag emerging inventory risks
  • S&OE Meeting Support & Short Term Demand Prioritization
    • Prepare and maintain the weekly S&OE meeting deck
    • Evaluate short-term demand drivers
    • Create and maintain a rolling promotion calendar
    • Stress test the promotional calendar against supply constraints
    • Communicate inventory prioritization decisions
  • Supply Chain & Manufacturing Liaison
    • Translate commercial plans into actionable supply requirements
    • Identify opportunities to increase production
    • Develop long-range monthly production capacity requirements
    • Maintain a 12-month capacity outlook
  • Tools, Reporting & Process Building
    • Design, build, and maintain planning tools and dashboards
    • Identify process improvement opportunities
    • Support the Retail team with ad hoc requests

    Requirements

    • 1 to 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Sales, or a related CPG or FMCG function
    • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel
    • Experience with planning tools or BI platforms
    • Clear communicator
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams
    • Experience with S&OP or S&OE processes
    • Familiarity with retail inventory management, DC replenishment, or PO management
