About the role
This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Media environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of higher education institutions to drive revenue growth and retention
- Build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders at partner institutions, including faculty and administrators
- Serve as a trusted advisor to understand and address curriculum and institutional needs
- Lead both virtual and in-person engagements, including product demonstrations and faculty training
- Conduct regular account visits to reinforce relationships and identify new opportunities
- Execute regional strategies in collaboration with the Regional Director to maximize account engagement
- Utilize data analytics to interpret trends and drive account strategies and engagement
- Promote equitable access to HBI resources across diverse institutional programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic account management or similar roles, ideally within Higher Education or EdTech
- Proven track record in growing and retaining accounts through relationship building
- Experience managing a geographic territory with a focus on developing account strategies
- Strong consultative selling capabilities, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions
- Excellent communication skills, adept at virtual and in-person engagement with diverse stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, utilizing data for account planning and growth
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex organizational structures
Pay
$126,000 – $150,000 annually
