Strategic Pricing/Risk Analysis Manager
About the role
Support strategic pricing decisions by developing cost and pricing models, analyzing deal structures, and ensuring competitive and profitable proposals. Work with Finance, Sales, Engineering, Legal, and Offer Management to deliver accurate, data-driven pricing inputs that align with goals and market realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee implementation of pricing strategies that promote optimized revenue recognition and improved profitability following our goals.
- Work with the finance organization to assess opportunities involving incorporating long-term organizational business planning into price optimization, enhancing APX PDP & Delivery's ability to provide competitive and comprehensive solutions.
- Manage the creation and implementation of detailed models and valuation scenarios for potential global new plant opportunities.
- Collaborate across teams to identify and analyze opportunities to enhance the new plant technology's value proposition through understanding of the full product life-cycle costs.
- Use external economic models to conduct market analysis of competing technologies' pricing and positioning strategies on a global, regional, or by-opportunity basis.
- Identify opportunities for product difference and highlight the value proposition of Energy System's products.
- Partner with VP Project Financing and Corporate Finance in the development of financing packages from export credit agencies, including U.S. Ex-Im Bank and other OECD ECAs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Masters Preferred in business, economics
- 10+ years of experience including in team/process leadership and financial applications
- Financial/pricing and cost estimating experience
- Nuclear industry leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience with pricing and estimating on large international and domestic projects
- In-depth financial and economic experience of the power generation industry
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year.
