Strategic Planning Senior Analyst

About the role

The Strategic Planning Senior Analyst plays a key role in supporting enterprise strategy and driving business growth through data-driven insights, structured problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
• Complete recurring market scans to monitor competitor activity, promotions, and emerging opportunities.
• Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to solve complex business challenges and identify opportunities for operational and strategic improvement.
• Aid in the development and execution of long-term business strategies and enterprise initiatives.
• Support strategic projects by evaluating business performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Prepare clear, concise, and impactful presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Translate complex analyses into compelling business narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences across the organization.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to improve research efficiency, data analysis, reporting, executive communication, and strategic decision-making processes.
• Leverage data visualization and analytical tools to create meaningful reporting and business insights.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting automation, analytics, and strategic planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, or a related analytical role.
• Experience supporting hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, or multi-unit businesses preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools and software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and strategic problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
