Role Overview
Pointr is expanding beyond its show-by-show install model into permanent, revenue-share partnerships with the exhibition and convention centers that host its customers' trade shows. This role owns that motion end to end: identifying and closing partnerships with venue operators, then enabling those venues to sell Pointr's platform on to their own incoming shows. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding a category-defining technology platform globally.
What You'll Do
- Own the full partnership lifecycle: identify, engage, structure, negotiate, and close revenue-share partnerships with convention centers, exhibition venues, and multi-venue operator groups.
- Build compelling business cases that demonstrate the value of Pointr's connected venue solutions to venue operators and event stakeholders.
- Lead commercial discussions, including pricing, contract negotiations, and partnership terms, in collaboration with Finance and Legal.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for large, multi-stakeholder channel partners, navigating procurement, IT, legal, and executive sponsors within the partner organization.
- Enable venue partners to independently sell Pointr to their incoming trade shows — building partner collateral, training, and sales enablement materials in partnership with Marketing.
- Build and deliver concise, executive-ready presentations and business cases.
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Product, and Account Management to structure deals and ensure successful venue launches.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and decision-makers across venue organizations.
- Transition newly launched venues to Account Management with clear growth strategies and success plans.
What We Seek
- 6–10+ years of experience in complex B2B partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or a related field.
- Experience selling or partnering within complex SaaS, technology, or platform-based environments.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, build relationships, and successfully close strategic partnerships or enterprise agreements.
- Strong understanding of commercial negotiations, pricing models, and contract processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with venues, events, tradeshows, hospitality, real estate, or venue technology.
- Experience managing enterprise customers or complex implementation projects.
- Familiarity with CRM, customer success, or project management platforms such as Monday or Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
