Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business/corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or consumer technology.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- Firm sense of accountability, ownership — doing what is necessary to get the right outcome.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to turn a high-level concept into a well-defined narrative with executive-ready materials.
About The Job
In this role, you will drive Google One subscribers and Google Photos engagement by collaborating with major distribution platforms, with a near-term focus on telecommunication. As part of this focus, you will lead cross-product area collaboration efforts across P&D, Gemini, YouTube, and more. Your core responsibilities will include defining partner strategies that deliver on the product areas' most important OKRs while tracking primary industry trends, acting as a dedicated advocate for our partners, and identifying specific collaborative opportunities. You will then translate these opportunities into impactful business development initiatives through effective execution.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Partner Discovery: Identify and lead exploratory discussions with target partners across various sectors, including telecom, OEMs, retail, and fintech.
- Strategic and Financial Analysis: Evaluate partnership opportunities, delivering rigorous financial modeling and business impact analyses to gain executive buy-in.
- Agreement Structuring and Execution: Structure, negotiate, and close product-driven agreements with balanced terms, managing the complete agreement process from end-to-end.
- Technical Alignment: Translate technical and business requirements in close collaboration with product and engineering teams to support company strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate high-value relationships with external C-suite executives and key internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Sales).
Pay
US: $176,000 - $255,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
