Strategic Operations Lead, Office of the CEO
About the role
We’re looking for a highly analytical, execution-focused operator to work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff on Nscale’s most important priorities. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role will sit at the center of the business, driving cross-functional initiatives, supporting planning and operating cadence, and ensuring senior leadership has the insight needed to make fast, high-quality decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic initiatives
- Partner with leaders across Product, GTM, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment and execution
- Break down ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, milestones, and deliverables
- Conduct deep dives and ad hoc analysis on strategic and operational topics
- Run operating cadence and planning
- Support the company’s operating rhythm, including weekly leadership meetings and follow-ups
- Affiliate with quarterly planning cycles, including OKR tracking and alignment across teams
- Track progress against company priorities, identifying risks and gaps early
- Work across teams to unblock issues and maintain execution momentum
- Own reporting and business insights
- Own the weekly reporting process, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and actionable
- Build and maintain core dashboards and tracking frameworks across the business
- Identify trends, risks, and performance gaps, escalating insights to the CEO and Chief of Staff
- Enable CEO and leadership team
- Prepare high-quality briefing materials for leadership meetings, board discussions, and external engagements
- Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable outputs
- Act as a thought partner to the Chief of Staff on priorities, focus areas, and execution
Requirements
5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth startup environment
Strong problem-solving ability with a track record of structuring ambiguous problems into actionable plans
Highly analytical, with experience in building models, dashboards, and synthesizing data into insights
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across senior leaders
Pioneered ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a high degree of ownership
Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear narratives
High attention to detail and a bias for action, with a focus on delivering outcomes
Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
Experience in financial modeling and analysis
Experience with project management tools and methodologies
