The Strategic Operations Director will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, driving strategic planning, operational excellence, and enterprise-wide execution. Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise strategic planning processes, including the development of strategic visions, priorities, and messaging for key initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership to design and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
• Establish and manage operating rhythms, including leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic discussions, and follow-up actions.
• Drive cross-functional alignment through governance structures, shared service initiatives, and dependency management.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to provide actionable business insights.
• Analyze organizational performance metrics and develop reporting frameworks that support data-driven decision-making.
• Coordinate quarterly goal setting, performance tracking, and strategic execution across teams.
• Provide executive-level support through research, analysis, presentations, and recommendations that inform critical decisions.
• Support business transformation initiatives, including organizational changes, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure planning.
• Develop communication strategies, leadership presentations, and stakeholder materials that reinforce strategic priorities.
• Build strong relationships with internal leaders, external partners, vendors, regulators, and key stakeholders.
• Support crisis management planning and provide guidance during periods of organizational change or challenge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, strategic operations, consulting, chief of staff functions, or business transformation roles.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Proven experience leading strategic planning, governance processes, and cross-functional programs.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Experience supporting executive decision-making through research, insights, and operational frameworks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and high-impact initiatives.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
