Position Overview
The Eaton’s ES AMER Sector Integration division is seeking a Strategic Marketing and Business Communications Specialist. The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 per year. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Essential Functions
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to drive awareness and revenue growth for both the software product portfolio and end-to-end solutions consisting of hardware/software/services.
- Work closely with sales, offering management, and other marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
- Manage the production of internal and external presentations, product collateral, product positioning, and tradeshow materials; ensure brand consistency and timely delivery.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
- Partner with other marketing teams, plan and execute trade shows and customer events focused on end-to-end solutions to drive customer intimacy and revenue impact.
- Partner with Offer Managers, define and execute the VoC process, activities, and feedback loops to capture actionable insights; translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Lead thorough market analysis efforts to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape; translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Partner with other marketing teams and offer management, define structure and oversee analyst inquiries/outreach across all relevant segments to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Deliver high-impact collateral and educational content (e.g. use case videos, customer case studies, end-to-end solutions) to drive internal awareness and commercial success.
- Lead digital and solutions internal messaging strategy, including Viva Engage posts and strategic initiative communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of strategic marketing, communications, or offer management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with software products.
- No relocation is offered for this position. Candidate must reside within the United States to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, content management systems, and creative production workflows.

- Strong storytelling, writing, and content development skills.
