Strategic Initiatives Manager

About the role

Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a detailed and dedicated Strategic Initiatives Manager to join our growing Sales team. In this role, you will report directly to our Chief Sales Officer and help drive initiatives around strategic alignments. You will coordinate projects across multiple departments and act as a key factor in connecting daily project goals to long-term business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design clear project plans, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish realistic timelines for delivery
• Help prepare our company's Operating Systems processes and work with stakeholders to create business plans for each strategic growth area
• Meet with business sponsors and executive leaders to report on progress, manage risk, and resolve roadblocks
• Monitor growth of strategic projects, evaluate data trends, and pivot strategies when business needs change
• Act as a right-hand to our Chief Sales Officer to drive project initiatives forward and provide feedback on their status

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven Project Management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience as a previous Executive Assistant preferred
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to cross-functionally influence and build relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail

Location

Relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.
