Strategic Account Manager

Description Position Summary Make initial contacts with customers - providing technical and pricing information on Trenton products as well as answering questions regarding product delivery and performance; Employee will strive to satisfy the needs of customers with on time delivery and continuous improvement in quality, products and services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Actively prospecting inquiries & potential customers via phone calls, internet & e-mail, bingo/magazine contacts, or mailings; Duties include, but are not limited to: entering contact information into CRM system, providing technical & pricing information, literature, 3rd party vendor sources, scheduling follow-up contact dates, soliciting evaluation ordersMaintain daily activity for accounts with assigned responsibility. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: customer inquiries/problems, order entry, shipment scheduling, pricing, and technical informationMaintain a target & evaluation customer list with scheduled or needed activityProvide projections for monthly sales forecast and inventory control forecastReview periodicals for increase of technical knowledge & potential prospectsTravel to evaluation/prospects and existing customersProvide weekly sales activity reports on target prospects and evaluation customers Requirements AS or equivalentMinimum of 3 years experience in electronics Sales or equivalentSome knowledge of computer hardware & software architectures (preferred)Excellent presentation skillsApplication experience in the following: Windows Operating Systems, Word, Excel, Contact Management Software, E-mail, InternetTravel required, as needed
