Junior Achievement of Maine is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional to lead major donor engagement, grant development, and capital campaign initiatives that fuel our mission. Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects.
  • Lead donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and engagement strategies.
  • Drive key capital campaign initiatives and fundraising performance tracking.
  • Oversee grant research, writing, submission, and reporting.
  • Develop fundraising dashboards, systems, and processes that support growth.
  • Partner closely with the President & CEO to maximize fundraising impact.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, project management, or a related field.
  • Success managing donor relationships and securing philanthropic support.
  • Strong writing, communication, and proposal development skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and fundraising analytics.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.

Benefits & Pay

  • Annual salary of $65,000 - $73,000
  • Flexible, hybrid work schedule with paid parking (candidates must reside in Maine)
