About This Role

Faire is seeking a Senior Associate to serve as the strategic finance partner to our Corporate functions. This role will collaborate closely with the CFO and other senior Corporate leaders to enhance financial planning and forecasting. Reporting to the CFO, this role is part of the Enterprise Finance and Strategy team, whose mission is to maximize Faire's long-term value by aligning business strategy with robust financial plans, reporting, and analysis.

  • Partner with senior leaders across Corporate functions to improve financial visibility and streamline reporting processes.
  • Develop best practices for expense tracking, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee opex consolidation and reporting, focusing on accruals accuracy and enhancing close cycle processes.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the leadership team, board of directors, and investors.
  • Collaborate with the Systems lead to evolve our planning infrastructure, leveraging AI and improving our Pigment environment to make budgeting and forecasting more efficient and actionable.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar role, emphasizing financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, including the creation and maintenance of consolidated financial statements.
  • Experience with equity modeling, particularly in cap table management, dilution analysis, and stock-based compensation.
  • Proficiency in financial planning tools like Pigment or Netsuite.
  • A highly analytical and data-driven approach, capable of defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and measuring performance effectively.
  • Strong ability to partner with cross-functional leaders, influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to simplify complex financial concepts for actionable recommendations.
  • A self-starter with a growth mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $133,500 to $183,500 per year. The actual base pay will be determined based on factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demand, and primary work location. Employees may also be eligible for equity and benefits. The role is offered on a hybrid schedule, with employees required to work in the office 3 days per week and have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific workplace and IT positions may require full-time office attendance.
