Strategic Finance Manager, Platform

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Finance Manager, Platform to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will partner closely with leadership to strengthen financial planning, forecasting, and decision support across a fast-moving technology environment. You will own core strategic finance deliverables, help guide investment decisions, and translate complex data into clear insights that support operational and financial outcomes. The position also plays a key role in month-end analysis and cross-functional collaboration with Accounting and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own financial deliverables including forecasting and reporting
• Drive month-end close with variance analysis and collaboration with Accounting
• Proactively analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities
• Serve as a trusted financial partner to leadership, preparing and presenting analyses
• Build financial models to assess risks and investment opportunities

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or a similar fast-paced environment
• Experience managing large-scale operating budgets across various cost centers
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders on financial decisions
• Advanced financial modeling skills and SQL proficiency
• Hands-on experience with planning and data visualization tools
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and responsible application in workflows

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
