About the role

You will own financial modeling, forecasting, spending analysis, and recurring reporting. You will evaluate compute costs, pricing, customer economics, hiring plans, and investments; communicate recommendations to leadership; and improve reporting processes through reliable workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial model and forecasts for revenue, hiring, compute, and expenses
• Show how planning changes affect cash and runway
• Track spending, investigate variances, and update assumptions
• Forecast training and inference costs and evaluate vendor proposals and capacity commitments
• Analyze pricing, customer economics, hiring plans, and investments
• Prepare financial updates for leadership, board meetings, and investor discussions
• Improve reporting reliability and automate manual work
• Take on new finance and business projects as needed

Requirements

• A few years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or FP&A
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Understanding of financial statements and cash flow
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and assess assumptions
• Ability to work independently without a detailed brief
• Clear communication skills
• Interest in maintaining accurate forecasts and reporting
• Willingness to learn how technology translates into costs and revenue
