Strategic Finance Analyst
Role Overview
As a Strategic Finance Analyst on our finance team, you will build the models and scenarios that help leadership see around corners, pressure-testing strategy, weighing major investments, and bringing rigor to our most consequential decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of the company's long-range financial plan
Perform sensitivity analysis and stress-test forecast across macro and strategic scenarios
Build scenario models to inform capital allocation and strategic investment decisions
Validate assumptions and update the plan as business conditions evolve
Monitor KPI performance (ARR, Rule of 40, Magic Number, NRR, CAC Payback, etc.) against internal targets and industry benchmarks
Gather and synthesize benchmark data from public and private market sources to identify performance gaps and strategic opportunities
Track economic signals to surface opportunities and risks for leadership
Develop models to assess the financial impact of significant capital deployments and follow up on realized returns
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to support major investment decisions
Build and maintain the frameworks that let us evaluate strategic opportunities quickly and rigorously
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance
Expert financial modeling skills — you build models from scratch and defend every assumption
Strong command of SaaS business metrics and unit economics
Excellent communication skills — you can translate complex analysis into clear executive-ready narratives
