Strategic Finance Analyst
About the role
Cambia is seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) in Portland, Medford, Fargo, Boise, Lewiston or Salt Lake City. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the office location.
Responsibilities
- Builds budgets, forecasts, conducts variance analysis and reporting
- Prepares financial analysis and support such as cost-benefit, return on investment and capital resource analysis for new business opportunities, proposals, contracts, or product development
- Supports cost savings and process improvement efforts
- Provides financial governance and oversight
- Delivers basic presentations to group or team
- Develops financial models and analysis using advanced analytical techniques and complex financial systems
- Plans, organizes, schedules, coordinates and monitors basic work streams
- Provides training or consulting expertise to other departments, analysts and external stakeholders
- Provides informal leadership if needed, occasionally suggests improvements to unit work flow/processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics or statistics
- CPA, CMA, MBA or ASA, along with health insurance experience preferred
- 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Attributes
- Basic knowledge of applicable statutes, policies and procedures in a specific functional area
- Partnership with leadership to identify a full range of alternatives for the business
- Sound decision making
- Effective verbal and written skills
- General knowledge of business principles, theories and concepts
- Ability to effectively work with a broad range of stakeholders, including the ability to influence where applicable
- Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making in professional settings highly desired
Pay
The expected hiring range is $69,700.00 – $94,300.00, the full salary range is $65,000.00 – $107,000.00 and the bonus target is 10%.
Schedule
Work primarily performed in office environment. Hybrid role (3 days/week in office).
