Strategic Equity Solutions Advisory, Analyst/Associate

This role is a seasoned professional position that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows. The Structurer integrates subject matter and industry expertise, requiring a deep understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function and contribute to broader business objectives. The position involves evaluating complex issues with substantial potential impact, using analytical skills to filter and prioritize information from multiple sources. Strong communication, diplomacy, and leadership skills are essential, along with coaching and training responsibilities for new recruits.

Responsibilities

• Price and develop innovative financial products for investors.
• Conduct payoff risk and P&L impact analysis for pre-trade and post-trade scenarios.
• Perform customized back tests and client portfolio analysis.
• Participate in pre-trade and post-sales efforts, collaborating closely with institutional sales teams.
• Contribute to the development of new products and payoffs.
• Create marketing presentations and participate in client meetings.
• Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
• Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions and ensure all team members understand and apply the same considerations, safeguarding the firm’s reputation.
• Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services, ensuring team compliance.
• Follow all defined policies and procedures for the role.
• Obtain and maintain all required registrations/licenses for the role within the appropriate timeframe.
• Demonstrate sound ethical judgment in business decisions, escalating and managing control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of structuring experience from a financial institution.
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple functional groups.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Pay

Salary range: $58,656.00 - $205,200.00. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
