Responsibilities

The Private Capital Markets Team Is Part Of The Capital Markets Advisory Team Within The Strategic Advisory Group. Our Private Capital Markets Team Originates, Advises Upon, Structures, Negotiates And Executes Private Capital And Public Equity And Equity-linked Transactions Across Sectors Globally. The Team Is Looking For a Senior Analyst Or Associate To Join The Team To Focus On Private Capital Raises, Including The Following Types Of Transactions:

  • Growth equity raises (e.g., Series B and onward)
  • Pre-IPO or IPO-linked capital raises
  • Acquisition related equity financings
  • Minority / structured equity raises
  • Joint ventures with third party capital / capital formation
  • Equity recapitalizations / refinancings
  • Other bespoke or creative private financing solutions

Analysts and Associates participate in the origination and execution of all deal activity. Work will include:

  • Active involvement in client-facing situations
  • Assistance in the execution of transactions
  • Assistance in deal structuring and term sheet negotiations
  • Ongoing investor relationship development and management
  • Constructing and managing internal deal and investor-related databases
  • Drafting of client presentations and pitches
  • Preparation of market updates
  • Conducting financial and other business-related research
  • Coordinating and helping manage complex and often time-sensitive processes
  • Participation in talent development efforts, including recruiting

Qualifications

  • 1 – 5 years of investment banking experience as a member of a leading equity capital markets or private capital markets group with experience with structured equity and/or private capital transactions highly preferred
  • Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Aptitude to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Robust organizational and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure

Pay

  • Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $250,000
