The Strategic Communications Specialist - Historian III plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic communications plans that enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Research and analyze current trends and audience preferences to inform communication tactics.
- Create and manage content for various platforms including social media, press releases, and internal newsletters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Manage the organization’s public relations efforts, including crisis communication planning and execution.
- Conduct media training sessions for key stakeholders to improve their public speaking skills and confidence.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in History, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in strategic communications or public relations.
- Proven track record of successful campaign development and execution.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to produce engaging content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience managing social media accounts and digital campaigns.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of historical research methods and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience working with multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
