Position Summary

The Strategic Commercial Manager, Global Markets is responsible for owning the international commercialization, go-to-market execution, and sustained growth of all Seaman Corporation products by leveraging U.S. owner-direct specifications and strategic segment relationships across global markets. This role leads the development and execution of international business strategies that expand Seaman's footprint with global owners, partners, and specifiers while ensuring alignment with U.S.-based standards, performance expectations, and commercial priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Seaman Corporation’s international strategy, driving the commercialization of all Seaman Corporation products, including FiberTite roofing membranes, XR geomembranes, and Industrial Fabric solutions, across global markets.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with existing international partners while identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new partners in priority global regions.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Business and Channel Leaders to support coordinated global account strategies and translate U.S. specifications into international demand by aligning global owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors with Seaman systems and performance standards.
  • Support specification integrity throughout the design and construction process to prevent value engineering or product substitution.
  • Develop and maintain a global pipeline of opportunities with visibility by product line, segment, geography, and project timeline.
  • Monitor international market trends, competitive activity, and regional dynamics to inform strategic adjustments and growth opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Technical Services, Product Management, Operations, and Customer CARE to align global partner needs with internal capabilities.
  • Provide regular forecasting, performance reporting, and market insights to commercial and operational leadership.
  • Represent Seaman Corporation in executive-level discussions with global partners, owners, and influencers to advance long-term market positioning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in channel development, commercial leadership, business development, or sales within construction, engineering, roofing, or building materials industries.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing distributed commercial teams.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and engineering design processes, specification development, and commercial construction ecosystems.
  • Proven track record influencing senior-level decision makers and driving strategic market penetration.
  • Expertise delivering or overseeing AIA/CE presentations and other technical education programs.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, with a commitment to data-driven performance management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to execute independently while driving cross-functional alignment in a matrixed commercial organization.
