Strategic Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Buyer responsible for sourcing, negotiating costs, and managing subcontract administration for materials and services from approved suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to understand needs
• Lead RFQ processes
• Analyze supplier quotations
• Implement cost‑saving strategies while ensuring compliance
• Manage supplier communications
• Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or costs
• Execute purchase orders with proper documentation
• Occasional travel to supplier facilities to visit manufacturing sites and handle equipment‑related conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management

Skills

• Proficiency in languages such as Japanese, Swedish, Spanish, or French (beneficial)
