Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability
- Lead the RFQ process
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Manage supplier relationships
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Monitor supplier performance
- Support cross-functional teams
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage procurement projects
- Support operational workflow
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or 7+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma with 10+ years of manufacturing procurement experience
- Contract and Supplier Expertise: Solid understanding of contract law, supplier relationship management, and cost analysis methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS 365
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Persuasive negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Organizational, time management, and teamwork skills
- Efficient, proactive, and continuous improvement mindset
