STRATEGIC ANALYST (FINANCE)

This is an unpaid internship opportunity for college students to develop leadership, sales, project management, and communication skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The internship lasts 6 to 9 months with potential for a full-time position based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.
• Assist in driving accounts to a close.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define strategic priorities, goals, and action plans.
• Analyze company performance, financial data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Support current clients, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the potential impact of strategic decisions on business outcomes.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and executive summaries to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Participate in strategic projects, task forces, and cross-functional teams as assigned by management.
• Identify emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and market dynamics that may impact the company's long-term strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree or current/recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate program in business administration or a related field.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications (or Mac platform Numbers, Keynote, and Papers).
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong research, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment under strict time constraints.
• Reliable and detail-oriented.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data, draw meaningful insights, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in strategic planning methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Strategic Analyst, Management Consultant, or similar role, preferably in a corporate strategy or management consulting environment.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
