Strategic Accounts Sales Support Specialist
Job Description
The Sales Support Specialist serves as a centralized point of contact to commercial leaders and strategic account stakeholders across the business. This role is responsible for providing sales support, contract implementation, and resource coordination to drive business success.
Contract Management
- Aid the commercial team in managing customer contracts, coordinating internal communications, and maintaining organized digital files.
- Coordinate the transition and ramp-down of migrated or de-marketed strategic accounts.
Operational Alignment
- Ensure contractual requirements and service commitments align with internal business processes and financial standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with subject matter experts to establish implementation timelines and documentation for account rollouts.
Account Administration
- Manage new account setups, credit reviews, report generation, and the resolution of "order-to-cash" issues.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide key stakeholders with timely progress reports and disseminate critical information regarding deliverables.
Process Improvement
- Identify efficiency gains and document best practices to support strategic account profitability and personal professional growth.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years inside sales, customer service or relevant Airgas/industry experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, Previous exposure to commercial contract terms and conditions, Prior experience manipulating datasets and analyzing data from multiple sources
