Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a tactical account/territory sales plan.
- Thoroughly analyze customer needs, values, purchasing behavior, and motivation.
- Identify key decision makers and determine buying criteria.
- Set daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives, prioritize tasks, and utilize available resources.
- Utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to achieve business objectives.
- Build trust and credibility with clients.
- Engage the customer to understand their needs and provide support, information, and guidance.
- Research and recommend new profit and service improvements.
- Network to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Provide superior customer service, learning about the customer's needs to tailor service approaches.
- Ensure courtesy and timely follow-up.
Competencies And Skills
- Bachelor degree in business or marketing or at least 2 years of telephone business to business sales experience.
- Knowledge and competence in inside sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.
- Sales planning and business development skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Effective prioritization of sales efforts and activities.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proven results in YOY category growth, contact management, and consistent use of technology tools such as CRM, Pipeline, Call Pad, Spotlight, and ZoomInfo.
- Multi-location account coverage.
- Experience with enterprise accounts and sales.
- Track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Industry-specific expertise.
