Position Profile

The Strategic Account Executive position will make sales contacts, research customer needs, provide solutions, and develop applications of products and services in an effective manner. The ideal candidate will forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, while creating satisfied customers. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales in Dallas, TX.

Client Relationship Management

  • Identifies and develops professional relationships with key clients and C-level client executives
  • Identifies opportunities to create value using Standley’s technologies and services
  • Works with clients to develop solutions that solve business problems or generate new revenue opportunities
  • Engages resources and leads strategy to develop a client-specific solution to improve document-intensive business processes
  • Collaborates with the MPS and Solutions teams to bring high-level expertise to the solution development

Requirements

  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Experience working with “C” level contacts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree and three years B2B sales experience
  • Good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance

Qualifications

  • Experienced producer with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding consistent revenue and gross profit targets including quota achievement
  • Established competence in managing the complete document lifecycle of the complex sale
  • Experience developing business plans and understanding of vertical market industry solutions
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities such as business maturity, consultative skills, problem-solving, negotiation, assessment, speaking/presentations, technical writing, listening, facilitation, project management, ability to influence, and management of billable work
  • Customer service focused, strong teamwork skills, ability to effectively leverage resources, overall drive for positive business results
