About the role
The NetBrain Field Sales team is seeking a proven Enterprise hunter with extensive software selling experience and high EQ to join our World Class sales organization. Key responsibilities include closing multi-year deals with long sale cycles worth upwards of $1mm, working with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to build a top-of-funnel pipeline, and driving these deals through to closure. The Strategic Account Executive will help GSI/MSP and Fortune 500 companies transform their network operations using automation and dynamic mapping.
Responsibilities
- Exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives
- Define and execute a territory business plan outlining target accounts, strategies for driving productivity, and high-quality pipeline leading to predictable outcomes and overachievement
- Engage at all levels of a Global organization across IT and other lines of business
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of key selling methodologies to maximize deal values and accelerate the customer buying process
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of all sales activities through Salesforce.com
- Leverage an extended team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Engineers to maximize coverage and technology evangelism within target accounts
- Understand the balance between driving bookings for today and developing a long-term, healthy pipeline for tomorrow
- Construct complex technical and commercial proposals
- Leverage partners to maximize penetration and scale within your target market
Requirements
- 5-10 years of technology/SaaS sales experience, specifically selling into IT of large enterprise companies
- Proven track record of working with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) on assigned prospect accounts to build a top-of-funnel pipeline and drive deals through to close
- Experience selling complex software solutions or services into IT (network operations, infosec)
- Able to work a deep list of assigned prospects, prioritize them, and leverage industry-standard tools to build a target contact list in partnership with BDRs
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to forge relationships with champions and buyers
- Ability to translate these relationships into big sales
- Able to learn and explain technical concepts to technical teams
- High emotional intelligence with exceptional problem-solving skills
- A willingness to travel up to 50% within your territory

Benefits
Our comprehensive compensation package includes an estimated OTE of $300,000 – $330,000 on a 50/50 base/variable split. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
