Key Responsibilities
- Design stormwater management systems including detention facilities, drainage networks, and erosion and sediment control plans
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to evaluate the effects of stormwater and design mitigation measures
- Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations
- Prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and technical reports related to stormwater projects
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proficiency with stormwater design and modeling software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, TR-20, TR-55, and HydroCAD
- Knowledge of Maryland and regional stormwater regulations and permitting processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
