About the role
Responsible for designing and implementing sustainable stormwater management solutions to mitigate runoff and improve water quality in urban areas.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements stormwater management plans that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborates with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Conducts site assessments to identify potential stormwater issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepares detailed design documents and specifications for stormwater infrastructure projects.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of implemented stormwater management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in stormwater engineering.
- Knowledge of stormwater management techniques and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Stormwater Management Modeling Software (SWMM).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Proficient in GIS software.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling and simulation tools.
- Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
- $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
