Water Resources Engineer
What You Will Do
GFT is currently seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to join our Eastern PA Highway Team. This hybrid position will be based out of either Audubon, Philadelphia or Allentown, PA Offices.
What You’ll Be Challenged To Do
- Work on the roadway team at GFT to engage in transformative projects enhancing transportation infrastructure and improving community connectivity.
- Deliver stormwater management design, erosion and sediment pollution control plans, NPDES permits and highway drainage designs for highway projects in Pennsylvania.
- Work with team members to deliver quality projects, on time, and build client relationships through project delivery.
- Manage and monitor scopes, schedules, and budgets on projects.
- Manage and collaborate with Eastern Pennsylvania highway staff to prepare E&S and PCSM designs as well as prepare Chapter 102 (NPDES) permits.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to complete tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers in developing plans, including but not limited to implementation and knowledge of drainage, post construction stormwater management, and E&S plans.
- Show a general understanding of how to manage/monitor scopes, schedules and budgets on projects.
Education | Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Stormwater Management/NPDES permitting experience required.
What We Prefer You Bring
- A Professional Engineering (PE) License registered in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 5-10 years’ progressive engineering experience in stormwater/drainage design.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
